Thought you guys might be interested in this. Apparently the devs are disgruntled former Ableton devs. It looks very similar to Live, but with some extra goodies. And, of course, it's will run on Linux.

The bad side is that it's not open source. It would be cool if they only could release their API so as to let us develop things around the soft itself. I'm eager to know the license's price too.

if they price reasonably (let's say, Reaper-like) this could be a killer SW, with large user base.
Moreover, that fact that it is linux-native (even if not open-source), well, that's probably the big step!

I agree. Open source or not, releasing commercial software on Linux should at least get people who are hesitant to consider Linux a viable option, which, in turn, will help introduce people to more open source options. And having more commercial software available on Linux shows that more people are, in fact, taking it seriously.

I Love Ableton Live, but if version 9 doesn't has Linux support, I will try Bitwig. amazing news to linux community
