Although psytrance is not exactly my cup of tea, it's nice to hear that people are making real music with pd, and not only your daily random sine & noise-like installation stuff (which also can be very interesting)...

Hey slvmchn, can you get that tune packed into a single Pd file? If you can, fancy a remix exchange?

sure obi, i'd definitely be willing to collaborate, and that goes for everyone else too...
at this point i haven't really implemented save/load for most of my patches, and therefore can't really have them as a .pd that will play after it's open... as you can see from the screenshot i'm rather sloppy with patching, but besides that almost all of them default to zero values... i'm working on some performance patch setups but it'll be a bit of time until i put it together that way, i more like to improvise and record, and then take a screenshot and call it a day... if only there were state saving a la roms, where at the press of a button it would pull up the exact same moment you left off. but yeah, i'm down for anything, if you have some you wanted to send me i could take a look at how you set it up to auto-run and then mirror that style in my patches, at least for the sake of throwing some easily-navigatable sequences around... anyways, i'm rambling, thanks for reading :-D

hey slvmchn, i have been using the netpd system lately, because it has good and simple support for state saving. also, as long as you have the basic netpd "chat" window open, you don't have to be connected to the network to use the system.

yeah, netpd would be a great shared synth environment for exchanging remixes and things. I keep meaning to use it, but because of versioning issues i don't want to update the machine I use for writing my other stuff on. I'm going to try and get it running under PureDyne very soon.
