Does anyone know where to download PerCOlate for PD?? I can only find the MAX port,
the pointer to:

http://www.akustische-kunst.org/puredata/percolate/

generates a not found error (i think?? its in german).

I have downloaded the PeRColate library in 2004:
PeRColate0.09-win.zip (435k)
PeRColate0.09-osx.zip (279k)
PeRColate0.09-source.zip (446k)

Do you want these files by attachment?

Here is an attached file.

I used the Percolate library under MaxMsp.
I think that it is one of best sound library.
My preferred objects: munger~ marimba~ …
And flapper~ bandedWG~ but they do not exist under Pd.

It is a (partial) port of the Synthesis Toolkit (STK) by Perry Cook."
The port of PeRColate to MaxMSP under Windows is by Olaf Matthes.

The port of PeRColate to Pd is by Olaf Matthes.

As I 've had some trouble installing it on Osx... here is some infos about how to install PeRColate (in fact it's quiet simple;))

Open "Pd-extended" which is a "package":
-> Ctrl clic on the app -> "Afficher le contenu du paquet" (for the french version of osx, stands for "open the package" maybe ?)

1 Install the library:
copy percolate.pd_darwin in:
Pd-extended/Contents/Resources/extra/

2 Install Help files
copys PeRColate_help in:
Pd-extended/Contents/Resources/doc/5.reference/

3 Add 2 lignes with TextEdit to the org.puredata.pd.plist"
(which should be in (User/...)/Library/Preferences/)
<key>loadlib31</key>
<string>percolate</string>

4 Relaunch Pd

It should work now

FUUUCK!

I just corruped my org.puredata.pd.plist file! now, no libraries start at startup. How do I correct this?

oh it's all good now, just had to quit and re-open twice.

But I still haven't managed to load percolate!

wow i guess you are lucky then i must have really messed something up because it doesn't load anything at startup even after the two lines were deleted so i tried restarting and opening it and reopening it and so on
still nothing, i then downloaded a fresh copy and nothing

Try replacing your version of org.puredata.pd.plist with the one I have uploaded.

put it in User/Llibrary/Preferences

Hey anyone have a percolate binary for OSX Intel? The one attached here gives me wrong architecture warning so I assume its PPC compiled....
