I used the Percolate library under MaxMsp.
I think that it is one of best sound library.
My preferred objects: munger~ marimba~  …
And flapper~ bandedWG~ but they do not exist under Pd.

ah yes, thanks.  i used to have this, but lost it when i updated pd.  you're a champion paresys :)

Is there a Percolate version for LINUX. I use ubuntu 8.10

oh it's all good now, just had to quit and re-open twice.

But I still haven't managed to load percolate!

Try replacing your version of org.puredata.pd.plist with the one I have uploaded.

put it in User/Llibrary/Preferences

Here is a osx intel version I compiled from the source on my macbook pro running OSX 10.5 and Pd-0.42-5. I don't know on what systems it should work though, I'm curious..

If this doesn't do it, then you shoud compile it yourself.

if some of you (like me) still got some trouble loading Percolate after the little tutorial by BerengerRecoules, try creating an object called " "import percolate ". Works fine !! I got a Mac Book Pro running OSX 10.6.2 and Pd 0.43.0

This is quite incredible! I have no clue how this works and why but it does.

With percolate I had very strange problems - after there was a post of the OS X intel version of percolate I tried it again and the same thing happened again: Namely, all the objects load and work very well however at next startup all is gone forever and I looked at boxes desperately dotted with red outlines.

Now THIS [import] object certainly does it and I hope it still duzzit tomorro :-)
