problems with attachments and Chrome
just posting this here in the hope that it may save people some trouble:
there are known issues with downloading some attachments from this forum with the Chrome browser. We currently don't know why this is so, and unfortunately don't have an easy solution.
If you can't download attachments, then please try with another browser.
This problem may also relate to uploading too?

I believe this is just a temporary bug in Chrome. Meanwhile, it shouldn't be a problem, as everyone who uses Chrome usually has another browser.
BTW, I'd like to help and try out if the upload works, but I don't even see any attach or upload options in this 'reply' mask.

this section of the forum didn't have upload permissions. i changed that, so if you want to have a try, you can do that now, i think.

Funny, I did the upload, and then I did also download it.... Let me try with something bigger......
EDIT: I tried with a 3 Mb video file, I then tried a 0.8 Mb RAR file, then I renamed said RAR to PD, and it's a no go. I don't know the rules about attachments, though. Let me try it from the explorer.

Test from IE, 800kB pd file....
.....no go. So, what is the upload limit?

Unless I'm doing something wrong, I can't upload anything with either Chrome or IE8 (both of them updated).
Chrome can download small attachments, IE can download all attachments.

I confirm the download problems with Chrome on Win. With Firefox 5 seems ok
