Just Learning - how to delete undesirable objects
I'm just learning PD, so please bear with me. I put an object on the surface but did not put any data in it, and now it is just a red object, and I can't delete it. So, how do I delete bad objects? I tried just clicking on it in edit mode, and I get the hand and all, but neither backspace nor delete will delete it.

Just choose it clicking and dragging all over the area in Edit mode till the rectangle you see has the object inside it. Not clicking "inside". Like choosing a text or something.
Then hit backspace.

I need a quick simple lesson on making a sound and then incrementing it in a loop, so that the sound goes up 9 times. The tutorials I am reading do not seem to describe how to do something so simple, and I learn programming very very slowly, one step at a time. Any help would be appreciated.
