not sure whether to put this into patches or pixeles, but since everybody is always so nice to share patches, i feel like pointing to a project i made back in 2004.
it is sort of a live tool for 3d mixing called generat. i am working on it again for the first time since then, since i got a few gigs doing visuals again.
anyhow, the old pack i put together back then, is here:
http://0io.org/projects.htm there's a link to a extensive online manual as well

interface screenshot:

maybe someone can make use of it.
have fun
edit: updated broken links.

Oooh, this looks nice. I'll have to look at it closer tomorrow. :-)

Hey flo,
Thanks for sharing.
I thought I'd try it out, but it's not running for me.
Looks like it is crashing when it fires up my webcam (built in).
Do you know anything about that?
And I'm in vista, so it might just be a lost cause.
Thanks

yeah... the cam & video modules have always been quite problematic.
i never used them really, because back then the pd/gem version it was built on had lots of problems with that.
if you want to use it, best get the help patches from the current gem version and rebuild the module for your needs.
also, i noticed that generat is still using the [counter] object as it used to be.
this doesn't work like that anymore, since there have been naming issues between gems counter and cyclones(?) counter object.
the [counter] objects need to be renamed to [gem_counter].
animating the geos should work then.
