Hey guys.
I am reluctant to go on a ban happy rampage, but Matt told me yesterday that we need to do something. Did I already give you admin rights to deal with this? If not
please leave the offending posts and email me a link to them so I can remove those
bots. No doubt they will come back and we may have to ban IP ranges for a while.

thanks andy, i logged in as mod yesterday, and saw that i did have admin rights enabled.
most of the bots were coming from 2 main IP sources, so i just banned those and then deleted all the spam posts i could find.
we'll see what happens.

I's also starting to feel concerned about this (even if I don't own the forum !).
And i don't have the logs to check, but the puredata forum seems to be gaining visibility and traffic these last months so we really don't need this pollution.
So I just wanted to say:
